Have a "Brief Encounter" With Ches and Iris
Hark back to yesteryear and spend the day in the
Visitor Centre at the the newly refurbished
Carnforth Station, where the 1940s Film Classic,
Brief Encounter
was shot.
Make a classic teddy bear
with respected bear artists HM Bears and
explore the period cafe and station.
See where Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard were
filmed and one of the greatest love stories was created.
You will make a 14-15 inch mohair English Teddy Bear with bear artists Iris and Ches Chesney. As this is a one day course, we will provide a ready sewn kit and during the day cover all aspects of jointing, filling, eyes, nose and airbrushing. In fact everything you wanted to know, but didn't dare ask, and have a fun time doing it. And of course you can choose to make either Celia, Trevor, Stanley the Porter or Gertrude the lady in the cafe.
